I came across this lovely little Breast Cancer Freebie the other night and knew as soon as I saw it that I could use it as a fundraiser. I intend to turn this into a little lavendar pillow that I can then sell at one of my Girls' Brigade companies fundraisers, to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. It did not take that long to stitch so I will try to do one each week, till I have enough to then make the pillows. If you are interested in this you can find the pattern Here, they also have a back stitch version.

Snowman freebie

I came across this little fellow as I trawled the amazing world of cross stitch that is available on the internet. How great of all these wonderful people to share their patterns with us. I love this little guy, who knows maybe he will end up in my 15 for next year. If you are interested in the pattern you can get it here.

Lavendar and Lace

Lavendar and Lace have some wonderful Christmas Angels to download for free, they have them from 1986 to 2005. They are absolutely stunning. I decided to download 1993 and 1996, these were the years my son and daughter were born; yet again I dont know when I will stitch them but you never know, one of these days.

If you are interested here is the link, below is the 1993 Christmas Angel

Crazy Cross Stitch Challenge 2011

The Crazy Cross Stitch Challenge 2011, there is a whole group of women taking part. We have to choose 15 Cross stitch projects that we would like to stitch in 2011, we begin one a day for the first 15 days in January, thus ending up with 15 works in progress(WIPs), that we will then attempt to complete before the end of 2011. I am not sure if I will complete all my projects but it will give me the incentive to try. This blog will be used to monitor my progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
My 15 projects are listed below : -
